Aldrick Robinson scored on a 96-yard touchdown reception to tie for the longest touchdown pass in SMU history, and the Mustangs (3-2, 2-0 Conference USA) snapped the Pirates' five-game conference winning streak.
But lets just talk horse controversy!

Mustangs have a winning record before they introduce the new horse. Peruna is NOT "part of the losing culture."

But we have an undefeated record under the regime of the real horses.
Peruna = INTs for BLM
Horses = no INTs

Very glad you brought this up. This ECU win demonstrates, among other things, that we do not need a new large mascot to win football games. Who knew

Yeah, but I bet a bigger horse would make certain people sleep better at night.

For some reason I just visualized Roy Scheider playing the part of General Custer at Little Big Horn looking to a fellow soldier and saying "were going to need a bigger horse."

We better not lose Saturday to Navy....We are 2-0 with Peruna being the only Equine on the field....if we lose for the first time at home with the Gelding Twins there, they had better be retired to the Prairie Pronto...
Just shows how silly the whole thing is...2-0 with Peruna..Peruna is a winner!!!!!!!!!!

Not as long as we are not counting the 11-1, 11-0-1, Cotton Bowl win, Bluebonnet Bowl win,etc.

I got my wish-the PA announcer stated last nite that part of Navy festivities will include a BIG CANNON-Now we just need the Big DRUM and dancing Indians being chased by Cowboys on Big Phony Ponyz and my vision will be complete
