Yeah, they barely escaped Arizona, which is playing so well they canned Mackovic mid-season. The little froggies didn't exactly light up South Florida, either. USF is OK, but wake me when they knock off someone legit. To hear them talk, you'd think they just knocked off the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

But wouldn't it be nice to "knock off" just SOMEBODY! ANYBODY!

Actually I think there was heavy sarcasm in those posts. Those quotes are from some posters that do not frequent that forum and are known as troublemakers.

TCU is a good team, but I think Houston will beat them.

As for Oklahoma, the are hands down, in my opinion, the best team in the NCAA. I can't imagine anything getting in the way of another Nat'l Title (Except those damn Cowboys).

If the Cowboys were playing colleges they might have a chance at a championship. They don't want to get near the elite of pro footbqall though. Just think what the Chiefs or Broncs would do to those pretenders. It would be ugly.

OP I think he meant the OSU cowboys, the ones that ripped us apart a few weeks ago, not the professional ones.

If they can get Jake healthy- yes. No one can win at AZ. When those people criticize our poor SMU QB's, I have often pointed out that no QB can throw form his back. That was Jake's biggest problem at AZ. AZ is the worst franchise in all of major league sports. As long as Bidwell is the owner, they will be losers. The Broncos also sufferred a huge injury loss at LB this week but they are still one of the elite in pro football. This week should show how good the Broncos are. If they can win at Minnnesota without Plummer and Gold, the rest of the league will be on notice. Only KC looks better right now.

What will be really interesting will be to see how an SMU QB does in Arizona (McCown). Will the two negatives cancel each other out, or will it be the most destructive combination in the history of the NFL?

And don't let the Frog posters get you down. "Best in Texas"? Please. Tech would hang 70 on the "nation's best defense" without breaking a sweat. UT would stomp them, and even ATM (as painfully mediocre as they are) would beat them into the ground. Sooner or later they will realize there's a whole wide world playing outside the little South Florida/Tulane/Arizona playpen they've been deluding themselves in.

Tech/TCU next year in Lubbock. For those of you who want to see a big purple bubble popped - I suggest you make the trip.

Just to set the record straight, Frog Years, the guy that posts this crap, is a troll. He posted this to get people like you guys riled up. Apparently he's succeeded. If you look at the full thread, it has tons of posts calling him an idiot, etc.
