This game will be interesting. If we can get the O on track, we can win this one. If the D somehow finds a way to throttle down Navy's option. Then we win. This is one game where we have to limit mistakes on both sides of the ball.

Forgive me 94, but cmon Kate. The body of the story outlines Navy's O vs SMU's D, and reminds us that Navy didnt attempt a pass last year. Then, in players to watch, she lists Rock Dennis, citing his interception prowess this year. ?? We all love Rock, but we need our guys on the edges using their lateral quickness to keep Navy from turning the corner, and our inside LBs need to bring it. I hope for a big game out of Fleps, Davis, Kenemmer, Yenga and Reed

That story is from the AP, nothing to do with Kate.

I really think this game is more special teams and discipline. The O and the D are obvious, but we need to cut out all of our mistakes, especially on punts and field goals. If we can get the couple big plays there, and cut out the big plays for the other team, we give O and D a chance.

I just don't think this defense will give up the huge plays we expect, and I don't think our offense is very methodical yet. Prove me wrong, BLM.

That sure isn't much of a preview. But, something is better than nothing, I guess.

I just hope BLM doesn't have tennis elbow or leprosy or restless leg syndrome.

It's Wednesday. We'll get the bigger one Saturday - gameday. But I think the safeties are going to key for run support.

We need Navy to be in third and long more often than not.

safety's are often over looked by your everyday fan when it comes to the option, but they play a huge role. I alos mentioned rock in horseshoe thread, not for interceptions, but for him filling gaps and his responsibility with the pitch man

Patton, you are starting to repeat yourself. Sure sign of old age.
