Is this a potential concession to keep new C-USA darling TCU in the fold...

from what this article states or implies, tcu is leading the charge to get smu for c-usa...

but what's all this talk about them leaving for the mwc...why would they leave?

i think many of the tcu fans we're reading about believe they are legends in their own minds as well as being out of step with the directions their administrators are pursuing ...

i read some newspaper article just recently saying that though tcu wanted to step up they still wanted a regional fit for c-usa which makes sense...i just have a feeling that tcu is our biggest ally in being considered by c-usa.

Don't fool yourself, they didn't want us in CUSA the last time around.

This means they don't have a recruiting leg up on us anymore due to conference affiliation.

The biggest leg up they ever had was our self imposed barriers and not conference affiliation.

I have a feeling that Tulane is our best ally but that is only a guess.
