That was just a fun college football game to watch

Yeah we should have put them away in the first half when we started possessions at their 40 and our 43 in the second quarter and had the momentum and came away with nothing.

But if you wanted to enjoy a good college football game that featured momentum, lead changes, crow support, student support, a finish at the gun and best of all sportsmanship, that was definitely it.

Disappointed we lost but it was one of the best games I've ever watched at Ford.

Agreed - tough ending but what a game. Lots of positives to take away as an SMU fan - we are undoubtedly moving in the right direction.

Great to see some improvement on the field - I thought 4 wins this year, looks like we can still get to 6...especially if we play they way we did in this game and in the ECU game.

Much like with the Mavs back in the late 90s, turning the corner is a process in itself - stay patient, know that things are getting much better, and that we'll all be very happy with what we have in a relatively short period of time.

Go Mustangs! Thanks for showing up and playing hard tonight.

However....I do have a big "YOU SUCK" to all of the people that got up and left as OT was starting! WTF!?!?! I realize in the end it worked out for them, but why would anyone in their right mind leave right before OT???? That's the worst possible time to go!

yep, that was our bowl game. big missed opportunity tonight. rivals the WSU game because we blew this one at home. Navy is a good club, but they are not USC. We had the ability to close them out and didn't. With the protection (no sacks) by the OL tonight, we should have carved them up and won that one no doubt.

Well put General. My sentiments as well. Great college game atmosphere.

The atmosphere was great especially in the first half.

Who are the people that leave at half time and never return? It's like they just came to see the half time presentation and bailed out.

It happened in the student section and on the home side. A lot of people left at half. :?

I thought the students did pretty well actually.

The students and the fans on home side were awesome. I just wish all of them would have returned in the 2nd half.

I think it got colder than a lot of people realized it would. They were wearing shorts, and some
didn't even have jackets. Windy out of the east provided a mean wind chill. Saw lots of
people watching on TV in the concourse when I was there.

Great game to watch, well worth the money for a ticket :!: :!: :!: :!: :!:

It was a lot more fun than I expected after seeing the Rice-NAVY score last weekend.

I think our D-fence can be upgraded to a C-fence :!: :!:

Should have but our receivers were covered all night for the most part, Navy defensive scheme was really good

I agree. They really shut our receivers down in the second half. Bo had a lot of time but the receivers were simply covered on numerous plays.

Very entertaining game that we should have won. The 3 folks I brought with me had a good time. Thanks to the students for actually staying for the entire game. Good home crowd--not great--but good. Lots of energy in the stadium, I thought. Good job by the band.

The same can be said for everyone who left at halftime.
We were winning.
Against a very good team, a team that hung with Ohio State.
We had a real chance to win this game.
Everyone who claims to be a PonyFan should have stayed and been deafeningly loud.
Those who left should be ashamed.
This team still has a long way to go, but it's hard to believe how much we have improved in a year.
BEAT COUGAR HIGH!
