For the first time SMU looks like a Football Team and the Players are proud to represent the University!

If you couldn't see the improved play in all facets of the team then you either have an agenda or are looking for a "miracle cure".

Penalties happen (4th & 1) and FG's are missed (Just ask Alex Tejada of Arkansas who yanked a 38-yard field goal with 3:08 remaining that would have put his team ahead of that "great" # 1 Florida team).

The R & S will work if BLM will just check more than his Primary receiver and not rush his throws, otherwise his accuracy is abysmal!

The "D" played against the Triple Option well!

This Loss, either than both being OT losses, doesn't compares to the failures at Washington State!

Yes, this is almost the opposite of the SFA game, where we won but ended up wondering if we were really any better. This time we looked like a real team vs. a solid opponent. Offense still is the weak link though. Pass efficiency for the Navy game was 103 and that is without any INTs. Not good for a passing team. Below 50% completions. If not for the nice running game the O would be bad. Having said that, just about all other aspects of the team are improved and the team as a whole is greatly improved.
Thanks for all the hard work guys!

we are headed for 3-5 with our improved team.

the d is playing about as well as they can.

the o will struggle along until we play the last four games.

we aren't good yet but as jj says we will be after two more recruiting classes.

JJ needs to load up on the OL and DL. A few at WR, but just a few.

The LB's and DB's are set for a the next 2-3 years.

Shouldn't be hard to find the bigguns we need.

Finding them isn't the problem. Outfighting their other suitors is.

We were so close to 3-1 in OOC play. That would have been an accomplishment.
