Quite a day in college football

ESPN.com is reporting:
- That Bobby Bowden's son was sentenced for fraud conviction (will bypass jail, must pay restitution)
- That Jackie Sherrill will retire (maybe they'll hire Mack Brown?)
- That Fresno State coach Pat Hill has withdrawn his name from consideration for the Arizona job
- That the game of college football has NOT passed Joe Paterno by (they're wrong, but that's what they're saying)
- And, of course, that SMU, Rice and Tulsa are headed to Conference USA!
