Copeland Detractors

I would say some KUDOs are in line for JC. Whether it was his efforts or a combination of events, SMU is now in a better position to succeed since the breakup of the SWC. CUSA is a good fit to establish and reestablish rivalries and has the potential to become a good league. ECU and the Fla schools are coming on and TCU is a top 25 program. CUSA should help recruiting and if SMU and Tulane do their part, this could become a fun league.
Under Copeland, we have a new stadium, we've finally removed the most serious recruiting restrictions and now have moved to a decent league for us. Some education majors or a little more flexibility in JC transfer credits and a remodeled Moody are the only things in our way toward becoming the Proud Mustangs we once were.
It's time to give Copeland a little credit- then poke him in the [deleted] to let him know the other things can't wait.

What are the chances of TCU bailing?

Old Pony,

I agree that Copeland deserves some credit.

I will leave it up to you to poke him in the [deleted].

Kudos indeed.

I didn't believe he'd get a new stadium.
He delivered.

I didn't think our admission policy would ever change.
He delivered.

I didn't think we'd ever escape the WAC.
Looks like he's delivering there, too.

Now if we could just suit him up as an offensive lineman.... I hear he was pretty good at that, too.
