Like them or hate them, they have a great team this year that could play with almost anyone.

Bet on at least one of the following:

1) They lay a turd against someone they shouldn't, which they always seem to do
2) Boise St wins out, and they are the only non-BCS team to get an invitation to a BCS bowl game

they can play with any team ranked 5-10. Hell Alabama might have trouble scoring in double figures on them.

TCU dominated a team that beat OU. They certainly look capable of playing with anyone, but I'm not sure they will be able to leapfrog Boise in the BCS rankings and that's what they might have to do.

The BCS games are not about "fair" or "what is right". They are about $$$. A 9 win Notre Dame will be invited before you will see both Boise and TCU playing in those games

i agree tcu is having a good year, but what have they really done to even remotely consider bringing up a national championship game?? they beat two crap ACC teams and some mediocre MWC teams. as far as byu is concerned - how big of a win is that anyway? BYU hasn't done anything that impressive either. (Wow, a 1 pt win against an OU team that didn't have their qb, big deal. And a loss to a very average FSU team?).

props to tcu for making the most of their schedule. they are at a point we could only hope to get to someday. but national championship? get the hell out of here

I watch most Clemson games and they are hardly a "crap" team...especially at Death Valley. That was an impressive win for TCU, and I do think they were fortunate to have played Clemson on a sloppy track, but if you watched any of the Clemson/Miami game yesterday, you would know Clemson has a lot of talent on that team.

Ah, yeah. They will be ranked #7 in the new AP. They've won at Virginia (who has won at UNC and at Maryland), they've won at Clemson (who beat #10 Miami yesterday on the road) and they just rolled #16 BYU on the road. TCU's resume is much more impressive than #5 Boise and I expect both to finish undefeated. Patterson does have to avoid the hiccup against a lesser team but they have a tremendous chance to make it to a BCS game.

I never said they should or will play in the national championship game, I said they are playing like they want to.......big difference. And I realize you hate TCU, we all do, but sto say what they have done is not impressive is foolish.....it is very impressive IMO.
