Not sure what to think abou this game. Can we stay in it without the turnovers? Can we stay in it without the drops? I have hated talk about the WR drops prior to tonight, but they really let us down.
Like what I saw from Padron and Smith. Each werent afraid to pull it down and run it....picked up good yardage. Adds another dimension. Have always wanted Bo to run a bit more.
Not too disappointed with this loss....except that it was Cougar High.

they did have 4-5 legitimate drops but some of those "drops" the announcers were calling would have been miraculous catches

when you look at this game statistically, it all comes down to our inability to convert 3rd downs and the 3 fumbles...not to mention the holding call that wiped out the opening kick return.
for those who wanted anyone other than BLM at QB, you may have gotten your wish. We may now sink or swim with the FR QBs.
If nothing else, it will better prepare this team for next year.
We have demonstrated we are NOT ready to compete with top 20 teams

I thought Houston looked beatable, definitely. With no drops (er, miraculous catches) or fumbles, we are in this game all the way. Our D did exactly what it had to do to Keenum to win.

Pretty easy to identify three plays that accounted for 21 points, including the first play of the game. Our guys seem to lose "fire" pretty quickly. I am referring primarily to Navy, when we came out flat in the second half, maybe also true of Washingtin State. What do you guys think?

Rather tough when you come out after halftime and give up a KOR for a TD.

It should not have been any worse than a 10 pt. loss - at worst.

I didn't see our guys "coming out flat" at any point in the Navy game. Our best game of the year by far

Yes, the offense struggled as usual for the most part and there were no cheap scores in the second half. That is not a let down.
