Well if you are out of bounds it is not possession. On that play last night it looked to me that he controlled it before his shoulder hit the sideline.

He was in bounds and had possession. Close but he got it.

Better question would be...inside the five with 2 people hanging on you, why not hold on to the ball?

Boy, Darius J.'s last two games have been ones to forget.

Still, I hold out hope that he can take over as the go-to-guy next year with Sanders gone.

I don't have confidence in Robinson or Wilkerson for that role.

I think Johnson will be a great one but he is being thrown into the fire and learning some good lessons early.

DJ will be fine, certainly with one more year.

All of them will be better in the next 4 weeks.

With a bowl, that extra time will be invaluable.

Tulsa can be beat, even with a QB change.

Amazingly horrific performance by the receiver coach and stubborness of the kickoff team coverage coach. Cost us the game again and wasted gutty performances by our backup QB's, running backs, o-line and defense in general. We outgain the top offense in the country with two backup QB's and lose by poor tackling on kickoff coverage and continued poor coaching and personnel decisions in the WR area along with some questionable officiating calls. If you don't have the athletes to cover, kick it high and short .....yea like they do in high school. Give them the ball at the 35 every time instead of the 50 and td's. Swallow your pride and let's win some football games. It is ok to kick short. Send a message to the team that you want to win any way possible that is fair and not dirty. Our D is doing the job, let's help them! Coach, quit talking to parents in the stands during the games and throwing footballs up in the stands to different people. What message does that send to the team.......that it is ok to not focus on the job at hand? The players are a direct reflection of their coach and the grade was F last night!

Exactly what do you propose that couldve/shouldve been done differently? Wilkerson, Haynes, AR, of course ES and DIII all had plenty of opps last night. What exactly was "amazingly horrific"?

Besides the WR Coach is out of eligibility.
