I'm not sure what to think of UTEP this year.

One one hand, they supposedly suck. On the other hand, they picked off Tulsa and Houston. Scary!

Of coarse everything has changed at this point with the QB picture. It’s going to be like STARTING a new season.

I truely belive we beat Tulsa.

Tulsa yes

Something about playing UTEP at the Sun Bowl. They are a different team than on the road. I think we can beat them at Ford assuming our QB situation works out.

Sun Bowl homefield advantage is amazing. The stadium is surrounded by mountains and the sound bounces off of them...it gets really loud.

Tulane and Rice.

Then Marshall/UTEP/Tulsa, need one of those.

Better hope for UTEP at home, though they will be playing for something (lead in the west) and be energized by a large away crowd.

Marshall looks like they've improved, and that just seems like such a disjointed trip over there. Huntington sounds almost worse than Pullman. When the tragic plane crash occurred, there were something like 80-90,000 people in Huntington. Now there are 49,000. Twilight zone.

Tulsa is a wildcard. Win there, and I think we're looking good. Lose, and I think we're staring at 5-7, with a possible shocker of a loss to either Rice or Tulane.

I think we have a good chance to win every remaining game this year. The Houston game was a lot closer than most think. We just made stupid, careless mistakes. We actually had more total yards than Houston... As long as we limit our turnovers and keep playing like we are, we should win AT LEAST 3 more games..

make sure you guys are gambling without my money. I think we might want to at least wait until x-rays or see who is starting and how healty Mitchell might be before we predict SMU goes into Tulsa and gets a win. Too many underestimate home field advantage.
