For HB Pony Dad -- HBPD's Monitor

So back before I was doing this documentary I would pick up whatever work I could get, including once getting a gig - I kid you not - editing together a two camera set-up of a deer feed seminar. Two days on deer feed. I think it was really at that time that I decided it was time to work on my next project. Sure podunk video editing projects beat delivering pizzas, but not by much.
I digress, so it was in those days of no money (roughly six months ago) that I get a call or email, likely both, from HB Pony Dad about a monitor for sale on craigslist in Austin. You see HBPD is a monitor nut and probably spends as much time on message boards for that kind of stuff as he does on PF.
The monitor in question was Sony's largest and last in their line of Trinitron CRT monitors. I believe it's a 27"-er.
"Thad, this guy's selling this monitor for 50 bucks, because get this, it's too bright! There's a site that shows a fix for that.... these things go for 700 bucks!" Blah, blah, blah.... eventually I let him know that I really didn't have the 50 bucks to, on a whim, see if this sure-fire fix would work (I mean it seemed like it would) as my money was better spent on, well, food frankly.
So HBPD says he'd buy it and I just have to go pick it up... and he'd then pick it up from me if he ever made it back to Texas.
Thus, I was stuck with a gigantahuge monitor that might or might not work. And when I say gigantahuge I mean it, it was tough getting the beast in the car.
What do you know, a week or so later I hook the beast up go through the steps, and bam I have the sweetest looking monitor west of the Mississippi.
Ever since then, HBPD has been bugging me to post some pictures. Here you go buddy, and here's to your monitor!
Pardon (Padron?) the quality of the pictures, they were taken with my camera phone...
My edit setup:

HBPD's Monitor:

Due to PF.com's tendency to crop images these days, you might need to right click to see the whole image.
(If you do right click, make sure to note the existence of the Rose Bowl Game commemorative plastic cup to the right of the monitor in that last pic. Just a point of clarification, I didn't put the cup there just for this picture. That's my go to office cup.)
