I was thinking about that. It really is impressive, but when you offset it with the poor 3rd down conversion stat we have, it just means the QB is not hitting anyone.

t is very impressive and one reason we haver a decent record. Eliminate fumbles and we are in a better position.

Great point.

If we can only start a streak of "X weeks without a kickoff out of bounds" that will put an end to field-position freebies for the other team's offense.

amazing, although i do think JJ went plain vanilla on the offense for a few games after WSU.

no question the offense has been simplified for Padron. Give the coaches credit for adjusting to the personnel they have available. Now, if we could just stop fumbling...

maybe these guys are saving their best performance for a bowl game

Got better, coverted 6 of last 12 3rd down I believe.

Also add 7 of 19 third down conversions for the Tulsa game. Keeping the ball and sustaining drives also helps win games. One of the better 3rd down efforts by our offense this season.
