UT and the refs

Really like to see if UT can beat anyone of substance without the assistance of the refs.

The little 12 office has to be embarassed.

What a joke.

Big 12 officiating this year has been horrendous.

Today, Suh got a personal foul for tackling too hard. The replay booth just totally blew that fumble too--and Texas got 7 points out of it.

SMU got the exact same call today-maybe even more obvious. If the whistle blew there is no replay. They never went to replay

The refs have blown a few.

Issue for the cowboys is ut gets very little, if any, holding calls.

Easy to complete 75% when you have 10 seconds to throw.

Radio sounded like Tulsa defense was calling our signals to to draw false starts.
JJ got upset, and gave the refs what for drawing a 15 yarder. How obvious was it
that TU was calling our signals. I kinda maybe remember a similar problem last year
at Ford.

Sham said the same thing (TU was mocking signals) and I honestly thought the same thing, notice after JJ got mad we only had 1 more false start the rest of the game

The TU announcers said something about a TU coach running down the sideline telling someone to turn off the PA system. Don't know if that had anything to do with it or not.

I now understand why they call it the Big Twelve. All UT has to do is put 11 on the field and the officials make up the 12th man. Thus the big 12. I thought CUSA officials sucked but I see the Big VIII officials have continued their decades long legend of crummy officiating.

Not that it matters but the Big II officiating needs to be upgraded.

EXACTLY.

It'll catch up to the horns in a bowl game.

Had a friend at the game who said the reason we had those three straight false start flags and Coach Jones lost his mind was because Tulsa had the music playing while our offense was running plays.

I think that's a specific violation of the rules, in which case the C-USA refs also should be embarrassed and reprimanded ... if not suspended.

Couldn't care less about the other game or the Average/Overrated 12 refs.

This has been true especially during the SWC days. I'm not quite sure how the Aggies came up with the 12th man tradition, but maybe it was to some how counter the 12th man reality of the whorns.

There were a few of those false starts where to me, it appeared the defense was drawing them offsides. Not necessarily in calling signals, but entering the neutral zone or even offsides.

I'm not trying to be rude, but there are plenty of other websites out there on which to talk about the damned Orange Cows.

We had a huge win today. There's no need to discuss any other game on PonyFans.com.

Just my two cents.
