Will SMU Fans Show Up? I can only imagine we'll have as much as SFA because of Homecoming.. right?

With Rice being so bad this year - we need butts in seats to see SMU dominate and come back for more. Rice, UTEP and Tulane become so big now - we truly need a home field to really pull this team to 7 wins. They're really a "home field advantage" away from being bowl bound.

Please don't play Rice like SMU played a winless TCU team back in '96 -right?

We need Kate to promote that we control our own destiny to tie for the conference championship. If the media will promote us as being in the championship race rather than just winning area games maybe we can draw a few extra fans.

Exactly. We need to promote our standing as long as we are able. We lose a tiebreaker to Houston if we both win out but we would be tied for the overall conference lead if we did win out. Until it changes it needs to be promoted. Since we no longer have a marketing department we need Kate et al.

We need to think about UH losing at Tulsa or UCF.

Promote THAT as well.

Students will show up for one half, it's homecoming, and if we are winning maybe some of them will stay

I want to come so bad. Rice is our second biggest rival in my opinion. But my best friend got a girl pregnant and i have to go play golf with him while the girls have a baby shower in san antonio... Dammit i want to go to the game!

With this being such a young team, I am hoping JJ and the staff can keep them focused so there is no mental let down against Rice after the big win at Tulsa.

we need everyone to encourage everyone they know to get out and support this team; I'm with a group of 6 coming in for homecoming and will be the 1st game in Ford this year for 5 of us

I still have entirely too many classmates still living in DFW area who don't attend games. Gotta work on those people, especially for homecoming weekend
