TV presentation

I'm the first to dogpile the athletic administration when they predictably F up, so I'm more than happy to point out when they do something good. The broadcast was top notch. I was worried we'd have Billy Bob out there with his camcorder, but I believe they were piping an HD signal. I couldn't hear all that well at the bar, but I was impressed they got Scham to make the trip.
Would be nice to start a relationship with 33 to broadcast all of our games that aren't picked up by the rights holders. Then all the news programs have footage for the sports segment and maybe even ESPN shows highlights.

I saw the game live at F & H and watched a recording of it last night. It was not HD (at least not on my Direct receiver) and the sound feed would go off from time to time. Otherwise, I thought 33 did a decent job considering what it is.

Tulsa did a [deleted] poor job. AllAccess video feed and announcers were terrible.

The great Brad Sham makes just about any broadcast sound good. Sure, there were a few flaws but I'm glad we got to see it. Kudos to all who made the broadcast possible.

I was pleased as well...It looked to me like they were having bandwidth problems..when they broadcasted in HD there was no sound..so they had to go to a non HD broadcast to have the sound also...they tried to get them both working (HD and Sound) several times but never could get it going....
Still a pretty good job though.

There were some issues with the audio on the presentation, but other than that it was great getting a chance to watch the game and listen to Brad Sham. Hopefully if this strange winning thing continues, we'll be able to regularly watch road games. Not sure if Ch. 33 is trying to add sports programming to their schedule, but it would be great if SMU could form some relationship with them.

If we can keep the momentum going, hopefully we can get the Marshall game on TV with another similar type broadcast...

I'm not sure who to point the finger at, but the sound on channel 33 was HORRIBLE! It kept going out on a pretty regular basis. An HD broadcast would have been nice, but I can live without that. Overall, the announcers did a pretty good job.

The best part about the broadcast was that it was a ROAD GAME. I know having any game on TV is a good thing, but when it's the home games only, it diminishes the home crowd.
Note to Orsini: move heaven and earth to get the Marshall game on TV. Do whatever it takes. Spend the money saved when the entire marketing department got pink-slipped last spring. Drive Sham and Stone to West Virginia yourself, if need be. Call on your Circle of Champions buddies.
1st and 10 was awesome yesterday, and I bet the Fox & Hound was, too. Get the Marshall game on real TV, so people can see it regardless of what cable/satellite system they have.
Getting this done would be very Top 25 of you.

The 33 did a very nice job with the presentation, there were some technical glitches, but fewer than those found at Gerald J Ford. Nice seeing the Mustang logo on transitions and titles. And to have Brad Sham on the broadcast--wow. I think he was genuinely enthusiastic about what he was watching yesterday. Must have beat the old "Phil Bennett" show he did.

not to mention the last SMU game he did at Tulsa (same season as PB show)
