How do you get to Huntington ? Do you fly a regional carrier into Charleston WV or take Delta or American into Columbus Ohio ? Its not easiest place to get to. TV would be great for this game but dont know if Orsini will spring for it.

When my kid flew in there for games they always droped in at the CRW airport, it's 40 miles from the stadium.

You can fly into CRW with one stop via AA from DFW and three star hotel for two nights total $477.00

Couple of us I believe are planning to fly into Lexington.

The options are: fly into Huntington (HTS) on Delta or some other carrier with a stop, Charleston on Continental or Delta, or the next two closest big cities are Lexington (LEX) or Columbus (CMH).

Lexington is about 130 miles away; Columbus 140, but the drive from Columbus is through mountains, making it like a three hour drive.

What am I missing here guys? Fly in to Lexington. drive 150 miles through the mountains in the winter (twice). for the same price as flying into CRW 40 mile away. Actually less because you don't have to drive the additional 200 miles.
Based on Travelocity rates with hotel.

Super 8 is the best deal for hotel. Within two miles and has breakfast. We have crew of twenty coming in from Michigan (about 6.5 hour drive). Hey, how often can fans from Michigan see a Texas base team play a game...we are pumped.

Some may not want to fly a prop plane in winter weather. Lexington is a direct flight from DFW on a jet.
