Did he play against Tulsa or did he not record a catch? I was not at the game, so appreciate any information here.

Participation stats say he did not play. This is just a guess but he had that ball taken from him so easily against UH when he was in traffic perhaps they hold him out until he regains full strength which might be affected by a broken collarbone. I'd love to know more.

Maybe June didn't want 2 true freshman with very little experience on the field at the same time. No offense to Darius at all, but Beasley should have a better idea of what he's doing out there, and June probably wanted his 4 most experienced receivers on the field to help out Padron. Just a guess...

While we are guessing, perhaps Padron needed to spend as much time working out timing with the starters. Then we can add the second string.
