We have to be Tulsa fans this week

Hate to say it but we need to root for Tulsa to beat Houston this week. This is probably Houston's last "tough" game of the season and it's huge for Tulsa. They are looking at 4 losses in a row (and 5 total) with tough games against ECU and USM after that. Hopefully they can solve their QB problem and figure out a way to slow down the Coogs' offense - just for this week!

Of course, we just need to take care of our own business first and scoreboard watch later.

Tulsa losing their O coordinator to Auburn has really changed that team

Does anyone have an update as to the status of TU's starting QB, GJ Kinnie or is Bower going to start?

Kinne remains starter but being evaluated for concussion

Tulsa has zero. chanse of a win. I think Marshall will play them better. Hope I'm wrong.

Tulsa hung with Boise, a better team than Houston. UCF is not a walkover, either. While not probable, anything's possible. Odds are much better if Kinne is healthy.

That's why we play the games... I would have taken Tulsa minus the 16 against SMU if you had held a gun to my head.

Can we benefit if they tie each other in a monsoon of mediocrity?

Kinne has the hype but Bower seems to be a better QB at this point. I was hoping they'd put Kinne back in and leave him.

Houston can absolutely lose another game or two, hell they almost got beat by Southern Miss at home. Their defense is terrible and the offense sometimes makes mistakes, if you can lose to UTEP (a team that then turned around and lost to Memphis), you can lose to anybody.

This is a great shot for us to get back in the driver's seat, I am still focused on the conference championship, forget the bowl talk, I want to be in the C-USA championship game, and here it is November, and we are tied for first.

Perhaps I'm simply disillusioned from watching the Houston game live. We looked awful and they looked like they were unstoppable. Houston looked very big we looked small. Well BLM was the Q.B. to begin with, I don't know.

Let's see what happens Saturday. Man I would love to be wrong.
