Armed Forces Bowl December 31 -- Fort Worth, Texas Mountain West No. 3-4 vs. C-USA No. 3 Projection: Air Force vs. SMU WEST DIVISION CHAMPS 2010
Re: Bowl Projections WEEK 10That would be a really fun game and a good measuring stick for us. Air Force gave TCU all they wanted a few weeks ago.
Back off Warchild seriously.
Re: Bowl Projections WEEK 10I could google it, but is the Armed Forces Bowl in Fort Worth? Or did that just change?

Re: Bowl Projections WEEK 10Yeah its in Ft. Worth. Shouldn't be too difficult for our fans to travel 40 miles for our first bowl appearance since the Reagan administration.
Back off Warchild seriously.
Re: Bowl Projections WEEK 10i think when if comes down to it we as fans will just be happy to be in a bowl, but it would really be nice to be able to go to the game (if it is somewhere in the continental united states).
going to hawaii the day before christmas is just not an option for some, although I guess for the team it would be a neat experience. ![]()
Re: Bowl Projections WEEK 10
The weather slowed TCU way down in that game. It was like 14 degrees and sleeting or something ridiculous like that.
Re: Bowl Projections WEEK 10Can't think of a better way to spend New Year's Eve.
Re: Bowl Projections WEEK 1014 degrees or no Air Force had to play in it too. Nice try though.
Back off Warchild seriously.
Re: Bowl Projections WEEK 10
Yeah, but TCU wasn't used to playing in cold weather because they are afraid to practice outside. The donkey's name is Kiki.
On a side note, anybody need a patent attorney? Good, Bad...I'm the one with the gun.
Re: Bowl Projections WEEK 10
TCU had two turnovers in the red zone and one late in the 4th. TCU dominated air force the entire game, they just made some costly errors that made the score a lot closer WEST DIVISION CHAMPS 2010
Re: Bowl Projections WEEK 10TCU has dominated in several of their losses in recent years. They have found ways to lose when they were clearly better team-see Utah last year
