I love what June Jones is doing. SMU is a pretty good team, relatively speaking, right now. Like all teams with a history of losing, the process of learning how to win is difficult. That's why they've blown games against Washington State and Navy. Now, they have a healthy QB competition going. And if he can get to a bowl game, which I think they will, then June will really be able to recruit.

Just think, all of these nice little snippets are a preview of the love we'd get locally and nationally by making a bowl.

I was listening to KLUV yesterday (11/3/09) and the morning show host, Jodi Dean, was talking about SMU prossibly going to a bowl.

Of course it doesn't hurt that his boss is an SMU alum.
