Talked to a Florida Gator buddy here in Navasota regarding the half-game suspension of Brandon Spikes v. Vandy this week...he shared the news that today Spikes has now 'voluntarily' taken himself out of the remainder of the game, so as to "not cause a distraction." Friend does follow SMU as an aside, and commented on the parallel of JW's suspension and the potential cost of a bowl, in relation to UF's and Meyer's punitive action and their situation.

Now, without inflaming passions of past decisions re SMU, doesn't this action by UF cut the credibility of Urban Meyer a bit?

So glad to see Florida setting the standard, on the field and off...

Would he have done it if they were playing Bama?

Doesn't change my opinion of him. I've always thought he was somewhat of a [deleted].
