Did anyone else find it tacky, a bit pathetic and boarderline unsportsmanlike to be playing canned cheers and fake fan noise over the PA? If our fans can't make enough noise, I don't really believe we deserve that aspect of home field advantage.

Anyway we can get the noise we need it. At this point in the program anything that helps let's do. The rest will come later.

Hey my issue is with the micing of the band..I fell like Dr.Who in a space-time continuam vortex with the music out of phase.

Sounded to me like they had the student section mic'd up. It's only going to take one instance where a wound up student says something and they pull that idea. My seats aren't really close to any speaker, and it seemed to me that they were cranked up pretty loud.

And for the love of all things holy, can we please get the sideline reporter girl to quit yelling in to her microphone?

Pathetic? Yes. unsportsmanlike? No. I hate the band mic'd and the crowd noise, but they cut it off every time the opposing team broke the huddle.

Speaking of booing, how 'bout that Rice band?
