He didn't play at all. McJunkin started and played the whole game. OH, and he committed 3 false starts. Hope that was enough info for ya.

Thanks for the info. At least McJunkin got some valuable PT.
OL is young and no depth.
Senior center Enright is a big loss.
Hope he returns for the rest of the games.

How does an offensive center get called for movement when he controls the ball and the snap?..just asking....especially three times.....

Without knowing exactly what happened, he might have pump faked the ball before snapping it, or moved it once he was already in his stance, ie, moving the ball twice.

Thanks and I understand and think the same thing, but if that is what it was...how do you do that same mistake three times?...hope we can cut down on the offensive penalties next week as they are momentum killers and we have way too many of them the past weeks.

Has not told the ref before the game starts where he wants the laces placed, then moves ball to place laces where he wants them and gets called for false start.

One time he dipped his butt just before he snapped the ball. It was very obvious. Not sure what he did when Padron was under center near the goal line. Whatever it was he came off the field very upset with himself.

Really? Could it also be that the refs didn't do what they were asked to do on laces placement and he just corrected them and still gets called for it?...

When the center comes to the line he is to look at the ball. If the laces are not where he wants them he needs to call the official over to correct the position before he touches the ball.

We had a similar thing going on with Chuck Hixson when I was there. Chuck preferred a certain style of football that was a little slimmer than what most teams used. Both types were regulation approved. Often our center would have to stop when coming to the line of scrimmage and call the officals over to exchange the ball if the wrong one was in play. It was pretty easy to spot since one style had white stripes around each end and the one CHuck used had no stripes.
