Posted: Sun Nov 08, 2009 12:07 amGotta give it up for Emmanuel Sanders. Finally, the real "17" played like the player he is today. He caught some tough balls today and did it with little fanfare. Catch the ball, line up for the next play and then catch the ball again. It had nothing to do with anyone else having to step it up. He had to step it up -- and he did. Even though Rice is a brutal defensive team, Emmanuel played like an all-conference player today. Three more -- make that four more -- games like that and the NFL scouts will be taking note.
