Mexican food buffet at the Radisson. Doors open at 11:30. Ask JJ your question. Highlights (and even some lowlights) narrated and explained by the head coach. Always entertaining. $15 at the door. BEAT UTEP.

Someone please ask about why we were not penalized on the opening KO of the 2nd half due to the unsportsmanship penalty on the returned FG. Thanks.

I repeat. 2 years ago we got a 15 yard penalty on the last play of the half against UTEP. UTEP came out at the 2nd half and kicked off from the 45. They kicked and recovered an onside kick, gained full momentum and eventually beat us in overtime. That means either we were screwed 2 years ago, or Rice was screwed last night, or the rule changed in the past 2 years. To this I would like the answer.

I believe we were screwed 2 years ago (and if I remember correctly, there was much discussion of this point on these boards)

The lunches are always a good time. Good football talk and great food. Make sure and RSVP to the Mustang Club if you plan to attend.

I think the basis for the secret is to get people to come to the thing. If all you had to do was wait and read about it on Ponyfans at 1:30 Monday, many would not attend. I am not able to go due to distance but I am not offended by not hearing what has been said. That is a priviledge of being nearby and paying to attend.

i know i just think its funny that JJ is giving them so SUPER SECRET info for $15... maybe Nobama should consider something like this? did he tell all the secret squirrels that the defense was actually going to run their normal 3-4 defense against navy, and not the 4-3 as he told rivals/scouts/dmn?! don't think so. im sure there's some interesting insight, but it would be tough to make my 6pm class in tulsa.
