I can't think of a post-1989 RB I'd rather have in there.
With 4 of the 9 guys blocking for him being slightly built WRs who are not that physical, it's going to be tough for him to put up huge stats, but I just love the guy. If he had not been declared eligible this season would be a lot different.

ShanD was a phenom. I love McNeal and think he is a great player, but I think ShanD could have been an all-time postDP great had he not gotten injured.

Dante Womack out of Arkansas was a good back in Rossely's offense. He seemed to keep the defense honest.

I was really impressed with McNeal's desire to win. When he took that 3rd down hand-off and jumped over a couple of guys to make the first, that showed me something.

Imagine what this guy could do if he actually had more room to run-he's amazingly quick and runs very tough. His first step is explosive.

sooner or later, we're bound to catch some breaks in the opposite direction. For every "just think if Shawnbrey hadn't been eligible," one can counter with "what if ShanD had played all 4 years"

Tough to compare ShanDerrick and McNeal, since the run was more of an integral part of our offense back then. On a typical Saturday, he have 20 carries.

A healthy ShanD hands down. Call up the Chiefs and ask for his brother - he'll tell you that he was the better runner when he was healthy.
