Lodging needed for a documentary crewmember short timer

We brought in an old buddy from film school days to drop in and embed with the team the rest of the way (film the team everyday). We got his feet wet on Friday and had him on a camera at the game. Today he started full time with the team.
Up until now he has been bouncing around in terms of places to stay. I'm wondering if there is an SMU alum owned property/hotel that can put him up for cheap (as a pseudo investment in the film) from now until season's end/bowl game.
Also if any of you have a garage apt. or something - let me know. And hey, in that case you'd have access to some darn cool stories over the next few weeks!
