Don't forget about big fake Peruna, saw him on Saturday too.

Maybe we could get some rich, unaffiliated donor to purchase "Sunny" the donkey from Sunnyvale who was donkey-napped this week and then insist that he be an SMU mascot. Can't have too much equine or cowbell.

The 2nd Human Peruna was only there last Saturday because it was homecoming and he was an alumni Peruna (our own Steve Stovall). I talked to him after the game and it was the first time he'd been in the costume in 21 years. Personally, I thought his vintage jams and football jersey and his moves were superior to the current student human Peruna.

SMU's first president, Robert S. Hyer, selected Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue as SMU's colors to symbolize SMU's high academic standards. We are one of the few Universities to have school colors with real meaning...and we just blow them off.
