Possible Zero local TV coverage for SMU this weekend

I know Gameday with be at TCU for the game and that they are #4 in the country but SMU is also leading their conference and one the verge of one of the biggest turnarounds in college football history. I hear that there may not be any TV coverage at SMU by any local station. I understand having the bulk of the camera coverage at TCU but not to have any cooverage on a game that could put SMU over the top is to me ridiculus.

Easy fix:
Send 10 SMU people to stand behind the crew and hold up SMU C-USA #1 signs.
Go Mustangs.
Bowl Bound Mustangs
Easy

Call The 33 and make sure they have a crew out there. They seem to like SMU.

That strikes me as a tad overdramatic.

Actually, that isn't a half bad idea. Might be enough to at least get a mention on Game Day. And there would be plenty of time to get back for 3 hours on the Blvd. Perhaps a few friendly TCU fans could even be convinced to come and take in two games in one day. We could at least have some extra butts in the seats until the 4th quarter.
And someone should definitely photoshop together a nice picture of June Jones bowling in some SMU gear and blow it up for a sign.

I figured someone would say that and that is why I said one of the biggest turnarounds in history not the biggest. But considering the circumstance around it being the only to to get the death penalty and return from it is significant.

I like that idea. Now that is what a true rival would do.

Over the top of what? 6 wins guarantees nothing and was achieved 3 years ago.

I agree it will be significant and a media event IF we get to a bowl. This "turnaround" of which you speak, such as it is, took 20 years. If you're measuring "biggest" in terms of time span, you may have something here.
Seriously, just sit back and enjoy the pleasant surprise unfolding before you and stop worrying about all of the other crap.

It's not other crap it is local media coverage which helps us in recruiting. I will donate some funds to RGV if he hold up a sign with what BUS has said to have on it.

We've had more local media coverage this year than any I can remember.
Just get over it already. Your time would be better spent preaching to the masses about accepting the new geldings into our big happy SMU family for godsake.

I prefer flying under the radar and as things progress favorably, that stuff will take care of itself.
But it is fun knowing that it is November and your team is tied for first place. Heck in 2006 we weren't even in that position.
