Now the media finds fault with the gameday experience at SMU- SMU. I hate this place. Yeah, I said it. Ridiculous parking (I was sent to seven different parking lots), ridiculous volunteers or paid help (no one could direct me to the press entrance) throughout the stadium. Just a giant mess. I never complain about these things, but then again, I've never encountered a situation like this, either.

Re: Now the media finds fault with the gameday experience at SMUWhat does SMU for visiting journalists? Don't we send them a package of information about the team, where to park, what entrance to go to, etc.?
Or as a journalist, shouldn't one call somebody at SMU to find out that information? /No Hate. Just Facts. Occasional sarcasm.
Re: Now the media finds fault with the gameday experience at SMU
I imagine that's a standard part of pre-game operations. Out of curiosity, where is the media parking lot for Ford Stadium?
Re: Now the media finds fault with the gameday experience at SMUActually, what he says is pretty much spot on.................

Plan ahead or stay home, whiner. You probably need the exercise.
Re: Now the media finds fault with the gameday experience at SMUI think we hire "scatter" help. It works as well as their band did.
All those who believe in psycho kinesis, raise my hand
Re: Now the media finds fault with the gameday experience at SMUSounds like this journalist needs to stay put in the soup bowl known as Houston and have someone else do his out-of-town duties.
Re: Now the media finds fault with the gameday experience at SMU
The parking garage across the street from Moody.
Re: Now the media finds fault with the gameday experience at SMUFinally, tangible evidence that we have turned the corner. Nothing says a program has arrived like the whinny media types complaining about a successful home team's facilities.
Re: Now the media finds fault with the gameday experience at SMUWhat does this do to our recruiting?
/No Hate. Just Facts. Occasional sarcasm.
Re: Now the media finds fault with the gameday experience at SMUThis is why I posted about the power of poyfans.
This board can speak for SMU football and have an impact. With JJ's success, recruits read this board. Their momas and family read this board. This is where the recruits get an idea of what SMU fans are all about and what they think about their program, their plauers, their coach, and their fans. There have been many good ideas on this board for SMU to improve fan attendance. Keep up the good work. You can make a difference by your posts. You may think it is small but winning can over come 20 years of losing faster if we fans all push together. We can be competive every year to win the CUSA championship. We can have 25,000 fans at homecoming and all home games. These are not impossible goals. Ponyfans can help reflect this. Is this too much to look forward too? I guess I should just shut up and be glad we are here. Sorry.
