Did you notice in the article above the predictions that Houston is now claiming that Tulsa faked injuries for timeouts. What a bunch of cry babies even when they win.

Same claim they made about us in last years game. No sure what the point is of making that comment after a win.

Their radio announcers were reacting like their own mothers had just been murdered. They made Craig Swann sound like an unbiased ref lover.

Graham Watson picking us? Aren't we -7? that's not really going out on a limb (although i agree this game is FAR from a sure thing,,,)

We haven't scored more that 35 all year. UTEP D is bad but no worse than some we have played.

I say SMU 31 UTEP 30
8)

I think this QB controversy disguises the fact that the real difference in this team is the Defense-and most definitely not the offense-well McNeil has definitely made a huge impact. But if SMU's Defense was giving up 35+ points per game like we have for a millenium this would have been a long long season and we'd be complaining about both QBs struggling. Pretty unbelievable SMU is only 63rd in the country in Total Offense-even with McNeil.

Hopefully last week's performance will be a timely wake-up call for the defense. They are not that far removed from being terrible (i.e., last year), and they must perform on this year's level this weekend.

Well, if they wake up, please ask them to give the offense a nudge.
