What do you think the chances are of Houston actually going down this week? I definitely think we can win out.

we better hope UCF can pull off the win b/c I don't think UH will lose to Memphis or Rice. Tulsa should have beaten them last week.

That Houston-Tulsa game confounds me. I don't know why the spread was only two points. I don't know how Tulsa lost.

This game is at UCF, right? Hopefully the Houston players have problems adjusting to time changes and an early game! Anyone know what the UCF qb situation is this week? I actually didn't think the backup looked too bad last week. I doubt he will have as much trouble with Houston's defense as he did at Texas.

the back-up Calebresse will never outscore UH. How about the RB is he healthy this week. UCF has some athletes especially on defense but I find it difficult to believe they will score enough points to beat UH

June sure hopes Houston wins since he doesn't want SMU to win the C-USA championship and mess up his travel plans to Hawaii...

Keenum is going to throw for over 600 yards. UCF's pass defense is ranked 114th...eek

I think that pass defense stat may be a tad misleading. UCF is 4th in the country in run defense so teams pass a lot against them plus they have played schools like Miami and Texas. No 52 in Total Defense and No. 33 in Scoring Defense which ain't bad considering their schedule. Held Texas to 35 and Miami to 27. I'd be more worried about their offense.

Does anything make you happy, or do you just want to whine about every little thing? It's like you're everything we all disliked about Stallion that he no longer is since the "model" has changed.

I don't think bagice is being negative. Jones said SMU is going to Hawaii if it beats UTEP.

How am I being negative...I am going off of two quotes from Jones....one I heard at the luncheon a couple of weeks back when he joked he would rather go to Hawaii than the Liberty, he tried to play this off as a joke, but you could tell he was somewhat serious...

Second was his even more puzzling quote of "If we win we will go to Hawaii" which prompted the DMN to put this headline in todays paper:

"Coach Sets Goal of Bowl in Hawaii"

What kind of goal is that when you are still tied for the Conference Championship? If we don't win the conference, then I am more than happy with the Hawaii Bowl, however, I don't like my Coach setting goals that fit his own personal agenda in damage to the team goals....

Don't worry SMU Mustang Players, I believe in you, even if your coach doesn't....if Houston should happen to slip in their last 3 games, I think you can win out and go to the Liberty Bowl!
