Might help a little that he works for a guy that used to be considered the best defensive coordinator in the NFL.
At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

or the fact that bennett has had the number 1 defense at multiple school...think before you say something else that you think is a valid comment like you actually know football that well.

Pretty sure I know quite a bit about football, thanks.

You want me to pay PB a nice compliment? OK. How about this? Phil Bennet is the finest used car salesman to ever coach at SMU!

He is a first-class guy, and I am really happy for him! He is a damn good defensive coordinator and nobody can deny that.

For 5 damn years he was a "nice guy" here and look what it got us. I don't care what kind of guy he is, the players quit on him, he had no idea how to coach on gameday, and he did virtually nothing to move the program forward.

The only time that I was proud that he was our coach was when he tried to fight Mike Leach.

He's a Used car salesman.

Nope, we were looking for an up and coming coach (on the cheap thanks to Copeland  ) and he
got the job. Lots of his friends tried to talk him out of it, but he knew it would be a good (TRY
AGAINST ALL ODDS) reference on his resume.

I like BENNETT, just doesn't have the name JONES :!:
May the forth be with us.

I said he is a damn good DEFENSIVE coordinator and a first-class guy.. I never said he did a good job with SMU. Regardless of the fact that he didn't have success at SMU, he still is a very classy guy and deserves nothing but success. I know him personally and he is a great guy

I disagree. He was the first coach to start hosting high school camps at SMU. He also got our first win vs. a ranked team post DP.

He struggled as a head coach, but he was not completely without merrit.
