This looked like precisely the kind of game we've lost and gotten our hearts broken from many times in years past. This and the Rice game were games we would've lost even earlier this year a la Wash St., and Navy. This team is growing and learning to win right in front of our eyes... so encouraging!!!

I remember going to TCU as a student when all we had to do was beat an 0-10 team to go to a bowl, and losing...I hated that feeling. These students today are experiencing something that many of us never did as students; I'm so excited for them, this team, this coach, this program!!!!!

My wife, who went to Florida and doesn't know what it's like going through what SMU has gone through in the last 25 years, looked at me with pure wonderment as I was jumping up and down in my house in North Carolina while listening to the radio broadcast on The Ticket...So cool!

Let's go beat the hell out of Marshall and Tulane!!!!
Let's win the conference championship!!!!
Let's go win a bowl game!!!
Let's redefine how this team and program is looked at and keep taking that next step forward!

GO PONIES!!!!!!!

What is really exciting is the future direction of the program. The quality of our recruits is going up exponentially. SMU is located in one of the biggest hotbeds for recruiting. We have a chance to become dominant for a long period of time if this continues, which is what always concerned Texas when we were in the old SWC.
