What a fourth quarter, what a win

UTEP held the ball over 10 minutes in the final quarter. SMU outscored UTEP 14-7 in that quarter.

Overall, we were 1 of 6 on 3rd down conversion.

UTEP out gained us by around 200 yards.

We also lost the turnover margin. WE did win the blocked kicks category.

Somehow these kids find a way to win. Great win.

Unbelievable. I haven't seen mentioned how great the coverage must have been on that last play.

This is a young team. Winning close games (especially from behind) builds confidence. The defense is playing great. Defense wins championships. JJ has the D and the offense is one year away to explode. SMU needs more depth. The future looks good!!!
