Actually I don't think TCU needs a lot of help from us...they are kicking [deleted] out there...and more power to them. They are showing us and all the other non-BCS schools how to make it work.

Here's the deal about TCU. They have been the beneficiary of our down years and have capitalized nicely. Those days are over now. We will be recruiting the same caliber of players now and we are poised to take back our rightful place as the best team in the metroplex once again. This thing runs in about 20 year cycles. Check the history. It's our turn.

Put this in THREE INCH HEADLINES...SMU will kick TCU's [deleted] at home next year and take back rightful ownership of the best team in DFW for yeaqrs to come. Your little run is over frogs. Can't wait to stick it to you and that sorry, overrated Gary Patterson next year. Looking very forward to that.

Their night from a media attention perspective. Ours could be Dec 5.

TCU will not be dropping off anytime soon. Talent is on the upgrade if anything.

no question that SMU's success will help TCU in the BCS standings. Clemson's run is helping, too. SMU and Clemson are both in position to win out and become conference champions. I'd like to see Texas, Alabama, Florida and Cincy all lose just to see how the BCS would handle TCU's situation. Would they get a shot at the national championship?

I'd hate to see a 1 loss Texas team play a 1 loss SEC champ for the national championship while TCU plays the runner up from the SEC, PAC-10 or Big East, but this year just might play out that way.

Of course, if Texas, the SEC champ, Cincy, Boise & TCU all go undefeated...there will be quite a few folks out there complaining about the BCS and wishing there had been a playoff this year.
