Wow. Those guys have one heartbreak season and the players get pounded by their media and fans. I know we have had disappointment galore but these were pretty vicious assessments. And UTEP isn't a good team. They have the record to show for it. I have seen bad teams with bad records that are a few plays from a good record. The inability to make key plays is a hallmark of a bad team.
The reason SMU is winning isn't because we have better athletes or a monster defense or offense, it is because our kids are making the plays they need to win for the last 3 weeks. And they need to do it again next week.

I like how he starts out by sayinf "SMU is not a good football team."
What a [deleted]. BAD teams don't lead their division in conference play. We may not be a great team, but we're definitely a good team.
On another note, #2's mother (Kris Adams from UTEP) sat with us most of the game. Very nice woman, and her son had a good game. Most of their fans were nice people, except one guy who dropped an f-bomb on me for no good reason.

that's great news. I couldn't make it by b/c had to be a good husband and have dinner w/ the Mother-n-Law. heading up there at 3 for some Cowboys.

I want to know what he thinks of SMU's teams from the past two seasons if this team is so bad.
Fact is, last season, SMU would've found a way to lose. This team could easily easily easily be sitting at 8-2 right now.
They've come a long way in a short time and I couldn't be prouder.
