If Darius Marshall does not play, SMU will win. There is no doubt in my mind, MU's pass offense is garbage to say the least.

I like how, in the comments section, one of the Herd fans referred to SMU as "decent." This will take some getting used to. :D

MU is about to play the best of the west and they think we are 'decent'? Time for our kids to step up and prove decent is what the middle of the pack is.

That brief venture into over confidence aside, MU will be a hard game for us. Slate was impressive when I watched MU play on TV earlier this year. Don't remember being impressed by the RB. Regardless, we are thin and beat up. We need another game where we make the big plays in key moments.

Beat Marshall.

Reports on Marshall board is that Cody Slate will miss at least 2 weeks putting him out of SMU game

Since that guy is #5 and we just played #4 I would really like him not at the game.

I have no idea if this is due to lack of strategic thinking, 20+ years of us losing, or merely flat-out stupidity on the part of these 'other' fans.

But understand something...Loud and Clear.

SMU is Back. We have decided to be relevant again. And relevant we will be.

I posted this a couple of years ago. When SMU puts their minds to it, it will become THE BEST non-BCS football program in America. We will dominate C-USA as consistently as UT dominates/dominated the SWC/Big 12.

Orisini better figure out the RGV riddle before next season.

A Marshall fan posted over on the CUSA board that he thinks Marshall will "not win another game this year."
