BUZZ:
The Mustangs are bowl eligible one season after finishing 1-11. Even better: They control their destiny in the C-USA West Division race. NEXT: Saturday, at Marshall.

77. Marshall (5-5)
BUZZ: The Thundering Herd need to win one of their final two games -- against SMU at home and UTEP on the road -- to become bowl eligible. Coach Mark Snyder likely needs a bowl appearance to keep his job. NEXT: Saturday, vs. SMU.

I told a UT alum colleague that SMU could beat A&M and he laughed. Using the transitive property, OU beat Tulsa 45-0 at home. OU beat A&M 65-10 at home. SMU beat Tulsa at their house. Therefore, SMU could beat A&M by two TDs on a neutral field.
