What was Vittatoe doing on fourth down? You've got to get rid of the football and hope for PI at the very least and a TD catch at the best. Terrible decision. Glad it was somebody else's player who screwed up.

Two plays which probably haven't been spotlighted enough. Rock Dennis knocked the ball away from the WR receiver on 3rd Down making Taylor Thompson's game ending sack possible. Sterling Moore stayed at home on the fake FG and made a great play.

In retrospect, you might be right but after seeing the play broken down in super slow mo, all his receivers were blanketed. all he could have hoped for was the PI. not a chance at a TD.

Yeah, Tom spoke about this play at the luncheon. You're right.

just went back and took another look at the highlights. really nice job on these.
Shawnbrey is FAST! Our D-Line really fights hard, being double teamed all the time.
Really pumped me up or the game today.
Go Mustangs!

for those who were there...haven't heard any talk about this...but obviously the coverage was good on that last 4th down play when Thompson finally got the sack. Was Sanders part of the defensive backfield on that play? That was the talk at the beginning of the year, was it not?

the coverage was good on the play. i dont remember sanders being in the game for that play.
UTEP struggled when they went to the 5 wide set, needing to throw at the end of the game. They were obviously a lot better running the ball even late.
