Long time TCU fan, and just saw that you got eligible for a bowl for the first time since your return from the death penalty. I'm hoping you go on to win your two remaining games and and go in and win CUSA. Not one of the frog fans that wish you ill simply for being SMU...I reserve that for ATM Don't see you dropping to either Marshal or Tulane. My sister just sent me pictures of my nephew storming the field after the Utah game. I had to show him the DMN Sunday to show that SMU won a game. I am tired of him asking me if SMU has ever been good.

After the SMu game i made it on over to the TCU game (my brother snuck me his student ID through the fence =) ) Anyway just wanted to say yall looked awesome and I think yall could whip the top 3 teams!

Actually we have been eligible twice before and once with a winning record. Of course that winning record was diminished by losing to a winless TCU and missing a bowl that season. Thus began the rise of TCU. I thought you would know that.

Well, now don't I look stupid . Your right, '97(6-5) and '06(6-6). Was watching College Football Live on ESPN a while ago and they made the comment about you being eligible for the first time since the Death Penalty and I took it at face value. Like I said, long time TCU fan. While I don't wish SMU ill, I can't say I actively follow ya'll either outside about a week before each rivalry game.

yeah. eligible for the first bowl since the death penalty. not the first time we have been in that situation though. the guys typing up the teleprompter script in bristol probably aren't aware of that. that '97 loss was brutal. at least we have two cracks at making it official this time--and an additional bowl tie in or two. congrats on your win on saturday as well.
