Apparently, KU is going after Tommy Tuberville, or baby mangino. Either works.

Ha! That picture is awesome!
The big rumor is that he got into an altercation with a player after the CU game. My question is--how slow must that player be to not be able to get away from Mangino? He must have stolen his candy bar or something.

Don't know the details but hopefully it didn't involve any abuse. Can't stand these intimidating, threatening bullies some coaches think they need to be to win. Hard at times on the guys, yes but verbally abusive and threatening, no. This isn't the NFL. The pressure to win?

Amazing how 5 and 5 is now getting KU people upset. Years ago they would have been happy with 5 wins.

Sounds like his last game will be at Arrowhead against Mizzou. The AD apparently doesn't like him and is leaking all kinds of incidents from years ago now. The alleged abuse is that he choked a player. And they have lost 5 games in a row--likely to be 6 on Saturday. I think he is done.

I loved when this was being waved around on ESPN Gameday last year.

I thought the whole time it was just making fun of fat Mangino when they kept waving the cupcake in front of his mouth like he was eating it. Apparently, these were actual KU fans and were trying to emphasize that Missouri was another 'cupcake' on their schedule.

If he gets fired, he can join the Professional Eating Circuit. You get some nice scratch for winning the Coney Island Nathans Hot Dog eating contest.

That would mean trouble for our fellow Mustang on the circuit!

One mother of a player, who asked not to be identified, said that "a majority of parents I believe would tell you that they are not surprised by this investigation." Some players have threatened to transfer because of what they perceive as having been spoken to in an inappropriate manner, another source said.
