okay if JJ in the beginning of the season proposed this to the SMU faithful what wouldd you guys have said??

okay, if he asked you this question in lets say july-august before this season started...

JJ - if i can get this team to become bowl eligible, a 6-4 record, and in 1st place in the conf would you let me take the team to any bowl i want, even if we end up winning the whole conf??

besides me, how many here actually thought SMU would be above .500 at this point in time??

The easy answer is most expected this team to be in the position it is currently in last season! After last season though, most would have said yes to the offer! I for one, would rather go to Hawaii, but would pick the Liberty Bowl over the Hawaii Bowl! How about we play the Liberty Bowl in Hawaii?

You forgot to add the option of "My expectations have changed. I am now drunk with success and expect us never to lose again!"

I vote yes becuase I think he know what our boys want a lote more than I do. As long as they are happy with the decision, I can live with it, too.
