Phil Bennett was also 6-5...have you done anything really special?
Nothing to see here..you coached us to a mediocre loss......would be really funny if we lose next week and you can't even go to your little butt buddy bowl in Hawaii...
SMU 6-5...just like phill bennet had us..nothing special...move along...

Point is..many people are ready to annoit June as the savior..but 11 games thru the season...we have the same record as Phil Bennett got us...
June ain't no miracle worker..in fact he is worse...he wants to get rid of Peruna and go to a [deleted] [deleted] bowl in hawaii when we were champs...
I am gonna laff my [deleted] off next week when we go nowhere....

I have to disagree. We were beat up on the O line and the D line and our DBs. we didn't play well with two turnovers. We didn't have a strong offensive showing. All that said, we are young and in a position that only produces pluses in the future. June didn't win this one and that makes next week's game an absolute must win. That is a position that very few thought possible this year.
Young team that doesn't have the athletes just yet but they are in a position to make a huge step forward. That is a good job by June Jones and his staff.

Don't try to reason with him. Just let him boycott theTulane game. That he how he shows his colors.

What a jerk. Difference is that PB had us 6-5 after several years, and that was the peak, built by a strong first recruiting class. Once they graduated, he couldn't sustain.
JJ on the other hand is just now starting to build. We are on the way up. Way up.

The difference is we will be 7-5 after next week..and the difference is JJ has gutted the team and winning with a team full of underclassmen and has solid recruits coming in.

I am not happy to have this lose. But we are still in control of our future. We are beat up and thin. This was a concern for many of us since the season began. We knew that we would have injuries and didn't have the personnel to replace injured people. That is the results of good years of recruiting which Jones hasn't had the time to achieve.
This was a good effort by our guys today. And no major injuries which means we have a good chance of beating Tulane and going bowling next week. Go Ponies.
