Interesting note about the Cedric Benson court appearance...he was represented by an attorney from MIDLAND. I'm sorry, are there no criminal defense attorneys in Austin? Any speculation why someone from Midland has to come in and defend Benson? Just curious.

Perhaps Benson knows him and trusts him and can afford to pay his hourly rate to drive from Midland to Austin. Let's see 15 hours at $200/hour = $3,000.
