Rice beats Houston SMU beats Tulane USM beats ECU Championship Game at Ford or in Hattiesburg? Looks like it would be up to the computers: The following tiebreaker formula is recommended for the Conference USA Football Championship game: Two-team tie to determine host 1. Highest regular season winning percentage based on overall Conference USA play. 2. If tied, head to head between tied teams. 3. If still tied, team with highest BCS ranking.

If Rice beats Houston???
Wow... interesting thought.
Too bad there is a better chance of pigs flying south for the winter.

anything can happen but this is actually playing out best for CUSA. I think Houston is the best we have to offer, but ECU or USM might also be competitive against a SEC opponent. I'm afraid our young, thin OL & DL would really be exposed. Not that I ever like to lose, but yesterday's loss might actually be a good thing in the long run for SMU and CUSA. Bottom lineis that we are only in year 2 of JJ's rebuilding process and are ahead of schedule right now.

UH is a good team (not great) but Rice has gotten a whole lot better beginning with the game against us. Rice had the furthest to go after their showing against Navy but they also made the most adjustments of any C-USA team out there. We certainly have an easier final game than does Houston. Rice wants nothing more than to be a spoiler after their horrible start. Pigs probably won't fly this weekend for Cougar High but I'd sure love to see if an owl can do some damage to a cat.

Let's face it Rice had nowhere to go but up. They were totally under performing all season.

Our best hope is that the Houston run D plays down to it's preformance throughout the year, Rice controls the clock and gets a few picks on D. However, their DB that got hurt against us was probably their best in the defensive backfield and we saw what can happen with that type fo injury agianst Marchall.

Could we get her to hold her clinic in the UH lockerroom? On, say, maybe Tuesday?
