If they continue losing would the rematch against Notre Dame ( meaning our last Bowl game appearance) draw some interest on Christmas?
Come on Orsini make it happen

I think if Hawaii wins one more game we play them. I think 6 might be good enought to get them there.

nope. they play a 13 game schedule, meaning they have to win 7 to be bowl eligible

I've been wondering about this for a while now...anyone know if it is actually a possibility? I'd love to play ND in Hawaii if it's possible...makes a great story even better if we get a rematch of the '84 Aloha Bowl.
Maybe we can get a similar result too

The Sheraton Hawai‘i Bowl was slated for the Pac-10’s seventh selection this year, but because the Pac-10 had only five bowl eligible teams in 2008, all parties mutually agreed to void the Pac-10 Conference selection for 2009
The Hawaiʻi Bowl was contracted to take either the sixth selection from the Pac-10 or the seventh selection from C-USA. Neither conference was able to meet their obligation, so the bowl selected Notre Dame instead.
Both the WAC and CUSA will fill that bowl spot this year.

Mike Golic of Mike and Mike on ESPN Radio talked about that game today. Think it was his last college game.

The WAC will fill the other spot in the Hawaii Bowl. Last year the Pac-10 did not have enough bowl-eligible teams, which left an opening for Notre Dame.

Garret,
Assume both Nevada and Fresno St lose their last games...Nevada at Boise State, Fresno State at Illinois...
How does that impact who we play?
