Congrats on a great season so far

Hey SMU fans. I've got a nephew playing for the Mustangs so I've been keeping close tabs on SMU football this season and last. It's been fun watching the improvement under Jones. I was really disappointed to see them not pickup a win in one of the OT games. That would've been huge, but they played tough.

Anyway, just wanted to say congratulations on being bowl eligible this year. I'm hearing the your bowl may be in Hawaii. I know my nephew would love to go there. Who wouldn't. Would be a great reward for the team. Although, kind of tough for us fans to get there. Hopefully, we'll see win #7 this weekend. Things are definitely looking up for SMU. Being a KU alum, I can definitely say the ride up is a lot of fun. Enjoy every minute of it.

As an SMU fan, I must say thank you...

As the son of a Mizzou grad, I would be remiss if I didn't say "Rock, Chalk, Chickenhawk...BOO KU!!!"

LOL. Yeah, the MU-KU rivalry is fun ESPECIALLY living in KC. I wish I could say I'm looking forward to the game this weekend, but our AD and/or coach has made such a mess of things, the game is kind of on the back burner. Really feel bad for the players and as this thing drags out, no one knows who to believe. One thing is for sure, right or wrong Mangino has been trashed and pretty much HAS to be let go. Too much damage has been done. My fear is, knowing my alma mater's football history and how they handle it, we'll soon be head long into another long period of a complete irrelevancy in college football

We can relate to that.
